4 Readers, 4 Books, 4 Times a year

The return of quarterly readings with a few twists!
We have been missing them and hear that you have too: those weekend afternoon readings by NOCO (and beyond) poets—several handpicked and a dozen or so through an open mic segment.

Event is FREE, Registration is suggested (register below).

An Ekphrastic Response

What happens when poets turn to visual art for inspiration?   The Loveland museum exhibit Creative Confluence:  The Origins of Abstract Art in Colorado, 1946-1960 provided inspiration to some of Northern Colorado’s most notable poets.  Join them in the gallery for a poetry reading that explores the emotions and ideas inspired by the artwork.

How to Write in Response to Visual Art

How do writers approach the special task of letting visual art be the muse?  This workshop will guide participants in exploring various ways to hold a poetic conversation with visual art.
